Carpete

The Carpete Chair redefines upholstery by stacking leftover carpet from temporary event installations into a structural volume for seat and backrest. An exposed steel frame supports the layered material, secured with visible screws making the construction method part of the chair's formal language. Produced by Virô, a creative laboratory specialized in scenographic waste, the piece was developed in partnership with Venetucci studio as an investigation into the constructive potential of surplus materials.
